Savvy Hipster exists to make personal style, piercing choices, movement, and everyday lifestyle topics easier to understand and more useful in real life.
I’m Wajji Ul Hassan, the founder and Editor-in-Chief of SavvyHipster.com. I guide the publication’s direction, review its standards, and shape the long-term content strategy behind every category.
I started Savvy Hipster after years of working with lifestyle research and digital publishing. I kept seeing the same problem: readers were surrounded by inspiration, but much of it lacked explanation.
Outfit articles often missed proportion and wearability. Piercing guides repeated terminology without helping readers compare placements. Fitness and nutrition coverage leaned too heavily on trends instead of practical context.
Savvy Hipster was built to offer something more considered.

The purpose of Savvy Hipster is simple. Each article should help the reader understand a topic, make a thoughtful choice, or turn an interesting idea into something useful.
That may mean explaining why a jacket length works with wide-leg trousers. It may mean comparing ear-piercing placements before someone speaks with a professional piercer. I want the site to feel visually inspiring, but usefulness comes first.

A draft is reviewed for:
